D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) [DR14]/[DR9] Comparison

Hey guys, I was listening to the record again and despite the pats on the back for producing a decent sounding recording something just kept bothering my ears. Trying to hang in there with the big boys volume wise was really compromising my sound quality.

Now I know that in my song I the raised the point that dynamic range compression was a bigger threat to music than auto pitch correction technology. However at the time of mixing, I too hypocritically over compressed the sound you were hearing.

I apologize to music enthusiasts, musicians and engineers alike and from this day on I will adhere to a minimum dynamic range of 14dB.

I just released my new single D.O.A. (Dead On Arrival) that will be on be on my upcoming album on November 13th 2009. The track is a response to rapper Jay-Z's wildly popular single D.O.A. (Death Of Autotune).

It's a slow tempo track that demands attention and will be fully appreciated by followers and haters of Autotune alike. This is a must hear for any Hip-Hop, Rap and/or RnB fan out there.
